(Yicai Global) Aug. 1 -- China's Holitech Technology, a screen supplier to Xiaomi, Samsung Group, and Microsoft, will invest at least CNY2.5 billion (USD363.1 million) to construct a factory in southeastern China's Fujian province to meet phonemakers' demand for high-end and flexible displays.

Holitech will build product lines for liquid-crystal and flexible organic light-emitting diode displays in the plant that is expected to start production by the end of this year with a monthly capacity of 10 million modules, the Jiangxi province-based firm announced yesterday. The capacity will be doubled by the end of 2021.

Founded in 2004, Holitech counts Huawei Technologies, Oppo Mobile Telecommunications, Vivo Communication Technology, and TCL as some of its clients, according to the firm's website.
