(Yicai Global) May 8 -- Chinese stock markets rose at the opening bell after US markets spiked yesterday.
The Shanghai Composite Index set out 0.39 percent up at 2,882.71, while the Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.56 percent to 10,923.61. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, sidled up 0.52 percent to 2,117.87.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 0.89 percent yesterday, while the Nasdaq Composite Index scaled up 1.41 percent, and the S&P 500 swelled 1.15 percent.
