Chinese Stock Markets Opened Down, Resource Shares Led the Losers(Yicai Global) Oct. 17 -- The A-shares market in China fell at the opening today, with resource shares performing the worst.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 3,373.23 points, down 0.16 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index decreased 0.15 percent, to 11,254.41point at the opening bell.
The Growth Enterprise Index fell 0.57 percent, to 1,876.69 points.
