(Yicai Global) Aug. 5 -- China's mainland stock markets moved up after a low start in the morning session, led by the fields of semiconductors and agriculture.
The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.29 percent to 3,381.35 by the lunch break. The Star Market 50 Index rose 1.65 percent to 1,591.90.
The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.89 percent to 13,984.22. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, was 1.45 percent up at 2,873.89.
