(Yicai Global) July 8 -- China National Chemical Engineering recently penned a USD145 million contract for a gas-fired power plant project in Indonesia.
China National Chemical Engineering Group unit has inked a project contract with the local owner, Hokasa Mandiri Utama, the international engineering construction contractor announced.
Beijing-based CNCE will undertake the design, procurement and 48-month construction of the project, per the announcement, which provided no further details.
Founded in 1953, CNCE is a general contractor in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power and coal industries in China and internationally, providing consulting, prospecting, design, construction, project management, environmental treatment and technology research and development services, per its website. It also plies the import-export and real estate businesses and invests in and manages factories and infrastructure projects.
Djakarta-based Hokasa Mandiri Utama is active in the oil and gas, engineering , procurement and construction, coal and precious metals fields.
