(Yicai Global) July 5 -- Beijing E-hualu Information Technology Co. [SHE: 300212] signed a "dynamic and scientific road protection & control engineering contract" with central Hebei Province's Public Security Department for CNY359 million (USD52.8 million). The deal marks further boost for E-hualu's business in Hebei province.     

The project envisions a three-dimensional prevention and control system in the province by integrating various platform systems, technical means, and information resource systems. Expected to be finished before the end of 2018, the project will help to modernize the management of local police affairs, said a company statement.

E-hualu said that this project is its first intelligent transportation project worth more than CNY100 million in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region this year, as well as the first project, among those in the Hebei framework agreement reached in 2012.

E-hualu is subordinate to the state-owned China Hualu Group Co., dedicated to the development of intelligent transportation, IoT, and cloud computing. With seven subsidiaries and multiple branches, it covers 30 areas including provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China, as well as multiple overseas cities, and has provided technical services for more than 200 cities at home, as well as some foreign customers.

Following the decision to set up Xiongan New Area, China's government strives for further integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. Benefiting from preferential policies, the company has received increasing number of orders in this region in a short period of time. In April, E-hualu was honored with the Administrator Qualification for "Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region's Synergetic Development Fund of Hebei Province." The total number of orders received by the company by now has surpassed CNY527 million.
