(Yicai Global) Jan. 12 -- Electric vehicle startup Sitech unveiled its logo and announced the official inauguration of its Silicon Valley branch office at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.

The Guizhou-based Trible Inc. unit showcased its product plan and intends to work with state-owned automobile manufacturer FAW Car Co. to debut its first mass produced model at the International Auto Show in Beijing in April, Internet Info Agency reported yesterday.

Sitech inked a cooperation agreement with bike-sharing firm Beijing Mobike Technology Co. in November last year in a bid to build an EV sharing platform.

The Gui'an New Area, where Sitech's headquarters and production and manufacturing center are located, has invested CNY7 billion (USD1.1 billion) in the company and its industrial chain partners to set up an intelligent factory with an automation rate of more than 90 percent. It will likely become fully operational next year.
