(Yicai Global) April 18 -- The Chinese unit of global toy giant Mattel has  recalled three models of Fisher-Price baby cribs due to the potential  risk of suffocation.

Shanghai-based Mattel  Barbie Trading is recalling 13,642 sleepers covering the Rock 'n' Play  FHW27, FNR95 and GDT70 models, China's State Administration for Market  Regulation said on social media today.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of the  above-mentioned cribs made by New York-based Fisher-Price, a unit of  Mattel, on April 12. The sleepers have resulted in at least 30 infant  deaths since they appeared on the market in 2009.

The firm's official flagship stores on Chinese e-commerce platforms Tmall,  JD.Com and Suning.Com have stopped selling the products but they remain  available from some third-party vendors in the country.
