(Yicai Global) Dec. 24 -- Leading British index provider FTSE Russell has added 800 companies listed on the Chinese mainland to its environment, social and governance ratings and data model for the Asia-Pacific region, taking the total number of Chinese firms included to 1,800.

The provider also added Japan-listed small caps to the ratings, it said today, taking the total number of Japanese firms to 1,300.

FTSE Russell's sustainable investment analysis includes 4,300 Asia-Pacific securities with the latest additions, and a total 7,200 worldwide.
