Both signed a contract in Shanghai yesterday. They will use Tencent's advantageous resources in the fields of social networking, Tencent cloud and mobile payment to cooperate in such fields as WeChat public account, WeChat medical insurance payment and WeChat commercial insurance payment, and set up special WeChat public account and applets to provide better and more humanized medical experience for patients.

Both parties will also make use of Tencent's medical AI platform to integrate AI with medical treatment. The AI platform already has the ability to assist screening for diseases such as esophageal cancers, gastric cancers and lung cancers. In the future, both parties will also make related researches on secondary screening for cervical cancers, breast cancers and other diseases.

In addition, both parties will collaborate in the fields of online counseling and electronic prescription circulation to create an online communication and consultation platform for patients and doctors, and electronic prescriptions will be more convenient for patients.
