(Yicai Global) Sept. 14 -- Zhong Fu Tong Co. [SHE:300560], a Fujian-based communication service provider, has won a USD7.07 million (CNY46.18 million) contract from electronics giant Huawei Technologies Co. to supply network optimization solutions between 2017 and 2020.

Huawei's network optimization project is focused on the northern province of Heilongjiang, including cities Harbin, Suihua, Qitaihe and Jixi, and also covering three high-speed railway lines.

The contract win presents Zhong Fu Tong with an opportunity to grow its market share in Heilongjiang and strengthen its industrial status in technical services for communication networks.

Zhong Fu Tong provides third-party communication network management services. Its key clients include China's three leading mobile communications operators China Mobile Communications Corp., listed through China Mobile Ltd. [NYSE:CHL;HKG:0941], China Telecom Corp. [NYSE:CHA;HKG:0728] and China United Network Communications Ltd. [SHA:600050], better known as China Unicom. The firm also supplies equipment to ZTE Corp. [SHE:000063;HKG:0763].
