(Yicai) Nov. 25 -- The Global Data Ecosystem Conference kicked off in Shanghai today, highlighting the latest innovations in digital technology that are transforming data-driven ideas into real-world business solutions.

The Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council, a government-level collaboration, is revealing its progress on digital identities and the mutual recognition of electronic certification documents during the two-day event.

Meanwhile, the conference organizer, Shanghai Data Group, has joined hands with the National Data Development Research Institute to release a white paper on building and operating trusted data infrastructure.

A blockchain letter of credit application, developed by Shanghai-based payment clearing institution City Commercial Banks Clearing, Shanghai Data Group and several commercial banks, is also on show at the conference. In addition, the Mineral Data Export Standards Innovation Union and the Shanghai Blockchain Innovation Fund are making their debut at the event.

Eyecatching exhibitions include the winners of the national data application innovation competition "Data Factors X," a display by the National Data Group Alliance and an exhibit of the data economy achievements in Shanghai. These initiatives all help to turn data innovations into real-world business applications.

The Global Data Ecosystem Conference has been held annually in Shanghai since 2022, bringing together top digital technology talent, businesses and research institutions from around the world.
