(Yicai Global) Jan. 26 -- Hellobike, Shanghai Junzheng Network Technology Co.'s bike-sharing brand, signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Fosun Albion Tourism Development Co. They agreed to promote scenic travel, integrating the customer-to-manufacturer model and smart cycling.

The firms intend to work together on industrial chain planning and a comprehensive smart travel platform by leveraging their respective travel data, bike rental, user security, cycling greenway and online tour preparation resources.

Hellobike will tailor its exclusive bike customization and research and development based on Albion's scenic resorts and tourism towns.

Their deal marks the official start of the duo's cooperation after Albion parent Fosun Group led Hellobike's D2 financing round.

Albion has rich original ecotourism resources, fusing natural scenery, cultural attractions, folk neighborhoods, villages, towns, hotels, and health and wellness functions.

The partnership will improve travel experiences in scenic areas and provide visitors with a new custom smart riding experience, Albion General Manager Huang Minyu said.

Hellobike hopes to replicate its strengths in bike-sharing travel in cities and its successful experience in 150 scenic areas to bring bike-sharing solutions to Albion's tourist towns, hotels and attractions. It will aim to provide new cycling experiences in line with Albion's "travel in the most natural way" theme.

Through the strategic cooperation, Hellobike plans to better the quality of its products and services in scenic spots.

Hellobike said it had 90 million registered users in more than 160 cities and was processing over 10 million orders per day as of Jan. 20. The bike sharer, which has rolled out 4.5 million bicycles, has deployed hundreds of thousands of power-assisted electric bikes in more than 10 cities in the provinces of Shandong, Henan, Fujian and Jiangsu.
