(Yicai) July 4 -- Leading Chinese esports firm Hero Esports, formerly known as VSPO, has joined hands with Tomorrowland to bring the first indoor edition of the Belgian electronic music festival to China.

The Magic of Tomorrowland, which is also the festival's inaugural event in China, will be held on Nov. 22 at the Hero Dome on Shanghai's Bund waterfront, Yicai learned at a launch event yesterday.

The indoor show will offer a fully immersive stage experience driven by cutting-edge visuals and sensory storytelling and feature exclusive China-debut sets from some of the world's most celebrated DJs, the Shanghai-based firm noted.

"China has an incredibly dynamic and fast-evolving music, entertainment, and nightlife scene," said Bruno Vanwelsenaers, chief executive of WeareoneWorld, the organization behind Tomorrowland. "There's a growing appetite for meaningful experiences, and that's exactly what Tomorrowland stands for."

"We believe that The Magic of Tomorrowland will be a landmark event that helps shape the future of entertainment in China," said Dino Ying, founder of Hero Esports and INS Land, a popular entertainment destination in the center of Shanghai.

"Since INS Land opened in 2023, we have seen impressive growth in guests, which reflects young people's enthusiasm for music and pop culture, so we want to build a new landmark for the next generation and further boost Shanghai's cultural tourism," Ying told Yicai in an interview yesterday.

The Magic of Tomorrowland also marks the start of a long-term partnership between INS Land and Tomorrowland's artist agency One World Artist, which will help introduce Chinese artists to global stages while bringing more of Tomorrowland's international talent to China's music scene, according to Hero Esports.

Tomorrowland was launched in 2005 and takes place every July in Boom, Belgium. It now stretches over two weekends and welcomes around 400,000 audiences from all over the world every year. It caters to all genres of electronic dance music, with hundreds of renowned artists performing across more than 15 different stages.

Founded in 2016, Hero Esports produces more than 7,000 esports matches every year that captivate an online fan base of over 800 million people. It offers a comprehensive suite of esports services, including tournament organization, marketing solutions, and community development.
