(Yicai Global) May 31 -- The Hang Seng Index, the main gauge of Hong Kong-listed equities' performance, dropped below the line of 27,000 this afternoon for the first time since January 25.
The index was at 26,984 at 2:15 p.m., down nearly 0.5 percent. The market has declined almost 10 percent from a peak of 30,280.12 on April 15.
