(Yicai Global) June 12 -- Huatai Securities aims to raise between USD1.7 billion and USD2 billion in its upcoming offering in London, according to a statement.

The Chinese brokerage has set a price range of USD20 to USD24.50 for each global depositary receipt in what will be the first offering as part of the long-awaited London-Shanghai stock connect scheme.

The offering period for the GDRs is between June 11 and June 14.
