(Yicai Global) Jan. 23 -- Chinese telecom equipment giant Huawei Technologies will defer its annual developer conference to March and host it via an online live-feed instead of a public gathering in view of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

The conference, originally set to be held in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen from Feb. 11 to 12, will be pushed back to March 27 to 28, the company Shenzhen-based company said.
