(Yicai Global) June 20 -- Chinese telecommunication device manufacturer Hytera Communications Corp. [SHE:002583] will shell out USD1 million to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Indonesia, via its two Hong Kong affiliates.

Hytera Communications (Hong Kong) Co. and Hytera Technology (Hong Kong) Co., will contribute USD990,000 and USD10,000, respectively, to establish PT Hytera Communications Co., which will be responsible for wireless communication product sales and services in Indonesia, the Guangdong-based firm said in a statement.

The move will help Hytera further tap the Indonesian market, localize sales and services so that it can respond to customers' needs more efficiently and bid for local projects, the statement said.

Hytera Communications Corp. derives most of its revenue from foreign markets. Its overseas sales revenue was USD220 million (CNY1.5 billion) last year, accounting for 43.71 percent of the total. Its overseas net profit was USD109 million (CNY741 million) and made up 43.44 percent of the overall net profit.
