(Yicai) April 27 -- The ongoing Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, also known as Auto China, has set new records for both the scale of exhibits and the number of world premieres, highlighting China's strong vitality as a core engine of the global automotive industry.

The exhibition runs from April 24 to May 3 and spans 380,000 square meters, making it the largest auto show in the world. It has attracted nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, showcasing 1,451 vehicles, including 181 world premieres.

These new vehicles primarily focus on electrification, intelligence, and comfort. They include high-end sports cars and sport utility vehicles developed by domestic brands, as well as smart models tailored for the Chinese market by joint venture brands.
