(Yicai Global) Jan. 15 -- Shanghai has fully initiated its SARS-CoV-2 vaccination for at-risk groups and plans to complete emergency inoculation of all persons in key positions before Feb. 5.

Special weapons and tactics officers line up for their jabs.

The shots used in Shanghai this time are from China National Pharmaceutical Group -- Sinopharm for short -- and Beijing-based Sinovac Life Sciences. The picture shows one such dose.

The procedure recommended for vaccinations for SARS-CoV-2 on the market in China comprises two injections, with an at least 14-day interval. The favored jab site is the upper arm’s deltoid muscle.

Subjects must stay for observation for at least half an hour after vaccination. The picture shows the rest area for drivers of Shanghai’s Qiangsheng Taxi, which will have over 6,000 drivers inoculated in groups.
