(Yicai Global) Dec. 12 -- Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business will endow a scholarship fund for students from the Republic of India to cultivate a new generation of business leaders interested in cross-border cooperation between China and its giant southwestern neighbor, the college announced in a statement today.
Established in Beijing in 2002 with support from the Li Ka Shing Foundation, CKGSB is now one of China's Top private business schools.
Candidates must explain why they deserve to receive the stipend in a 100-word essay in their MBA program application, per the statement. The scholarship will cover the full tuition costs of the program, but students will need to pay a miscellaneous fee of CNY40,000 (USD5,680) and for their lodgings. All applications must be in by June 29.
