(Yicai Global) Aug. 24 -- Lujiazui Financial City’s Green Finance Development Committee and Xinhua Finance have jointly released a course on environmental, social and governance investment related to achieving the goal of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality.

“Explore International Practice for Carbon-Related Environmental, Social, and Governance Investment” will analyze and explore ESG investment from different perspective including international cooperation, policies and rules, current development stage, and insights from companies which have committed to carbon neutrality such as the world’s largest steel maker Baowu Group and electric vehicle maker Nio.

Expert and institutions including ESG international rating and index compilation agency Morgan Stanley Capital International, leading asset managers BlackRock and Fidelity International, and Ma Jun and Michael Sheren, two former co-chairs of the G20’s Green Finance Working Group, will share their knowledge on ESG investment. Other key figures will participate via cloud communications.

The course will consist of eight video episodes and it will be aired on Finance’s Xianchangyun platform on Thursdays and Fridays at 11.00 a.m. starting from Aug. 24.
