(Yicai Global) April 26 -- Chinese software developer Neusoft Corp. has signed an agreement worth CNY1.2 billion (USD185 million) over the next three years with Geely Auto Group to provide the country’s largest private car manufacturer with in-vehicle information and data systems.

Neusoft will supply infotainment systems to Geely unit Hubei ECARX Technology that will be used in over 10 new models across its trademark Geely, upmarket Lynk&Co and all-electric Geometry marques, the Shenyang, northeastern Liaoning province-based company said on April 23.

The new models are expected to become available from the end of the year, it added.

The deal marks a major breakthrough for Neusoft in self-developed smart cockpit products, it said, adding that it is of great significance to the firm's sustainable and rapid development.

Neusoft and Hangzhou-based Geely Auto have teamed up before on co-developed smart cabin systems that have already been installed in over 20 models, it added.

Neusoft’s share price [SHA:600718] closed up 0.43 percent today at CNY9.31 (USD1.44) apiece.
