(Yicai Global) Aug. 28 -- No online lending platforms have a present been approved or filed by financial regulatory authorities, the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Financial Work said today on its website.

The peer-to-peer online lending sector has been undergoing special rectification since 2016 and no platforms have passed the acceptance inspection thus far, the bureau said.
