(Yicai Global) Jan. 5 -- Online education service Beifeng has raised tens of millions of yuan in B+ funding to research and develop its core curriculum and technical platform.

Zhen Fund for Education led the round with support from previous investors, online media outlet 36Kr.com reported.

Beifeng, operated by Shanghai Yuchuang Network Technology Co., offers information technology classes, covering artificial intelligence, Big Data, data analysis and more to white-collar workers.

Some 95 percent of its users are already employed. Compared with lower-end training institutions, that mostly target graduates, Beifeng has higher customer retention. It currently has a repurchase rate of 36 percent and average class completion rate of 85 percent.
