(Yicai Global) Nov. 26 -- Russia’s Pegas Fly flight from Moscow to Zhengzhou was denied permission to take off yesterday after all 190 blood serum antibody tests for the novel coronavirus taken from travelers and crew came back the same.

Passengers for flight EO429 are still stuck in the Russian capital after their test results were declared invalid.

Neither the airline nor the testing agencies could explain how 190 tests could all come back the same, the Chinese Embassy in Russia said on its WeChat account today. The embassy has asked for everyone to be retested.

Everybody has different blood so it is quite unlikely for 190 people to all produce the same data, the head of a novel coronavirus testing kit maker told Yicai Global.

All Chinese and foreign travelers are required to have a Covid-19 nucleic acid test, which tests for the presence of the virus, and a blood serum antibody test, which checks for the presence of antibodies to the virus, before travelling in order to prevent cross-border transmission of the disease.

Flight EO429 is still available for bookings next week on Dec. 2, according to a number of websites. The TravelGo travel agency said it has not received any notice of flight cancellations or the suspension of ticket sales.
