(Yicai Global) Sept. 21 -- Although Chinese stock markets opened higher this morning, many investors cashed out their earlier gains after a strong week last week. 

The Shanghai Composite Index closed down 0.41 percent at 3,324.25. The Shenzhen Component Index fell to 13,218.88, down 0.2 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, slid 0.46 percent to 2,584.18.
