(Yicai Global) March 11 -- Scalpers who used computer programs to collar all available Huawei second-generation Mate Xs folding phone soon after its recent official launch on major platforms have now flogged its price on the secondary market up to about CNY30,000 (USD4,310), and even CNY40,000 in some cases, Securities Daily reported today.
The smartphone's sticker price is CNY16,999.
Consumers who charge that these huangniu -- 'yellow cows' -- unfairly used these applications to snatch up all available units before selling them along are demanding that Huawei disable its software on these hoarded handsets.
