(Yicai Global) Feb. 3 --  Shanghai has confirmed another 11 new cases of the novel coronavirus as of yesterday, bringing the total to 193, the Shanghai Health Commission announced this morning.

Among the total, one has died, 12 remain in a critical state, 10 are fully recovered and have been discharged from hospital, and 170 are in stable condition.

The patients are aged between seven and 88 years of age and include 101 men and 92 women.

Some 113 have lived in or visited Hubei province, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, and 70 have had close contact with other patients. Eight have lived in or visited other provinces, and two have had no contact with Hubei at all, the health commission said.

As of yesterday, 449 suspected cases have been cleared and 173 suspected cases are still undergoing further tests.
