(Yicai Global) Feb. 4 --  Shanghai has confirmed another 5 new cases of the novel coronavirus as of yesterday, bringing the total to 208, the Shanghai Health Commission announced this morning.

Among the total, one has died, 14 remain in a critical state, 10 are fully recovered and have been discharged from hospital, and 183 are in stable condition.

The patients are aged between seven months and 88 years of age and include 107 men and 101 women.

Some 116 have lived in or visited Hubei province, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, and 84 have had close contact with other patients. Eight have lived in or visited other provinces or regions, the health commission said.

As of yesterday, 523 suspected cases have been cleared and 168 suspected cases are still undergoing further tests.
