(Yicai Global) Sept. 20 -- Lingang, the latest addition to the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, will become a pilot area for new foreign talent policies, the city's municipal government said this morning.

The policies will aim to lure scientific research talent from overseas for important projects and give companies more power and autonomy in managing their foreign employees, according to the statement. The policies will also make it easier for expats to start their own business.
