(Yicai Global) Nov. 12 -- Shanghai's main stock market benchmark has fallen below the threshold of 2,900 for the first time since Oct. 9.
The Shanghai Composite Index declined by 0.44 percent to 2,897.23 at the end of the morning session. Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Component Index widened losses by 0.91 percent at 9,592.31. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth enterprises, slid by 0.89 percent to 1,658.3.
Shares related to augmented reality tumbled by 2.6 percent and those involving smart cities edged down by 2.2 percent to become the biggest losers of the morning.
