(Yicai Global) Jan. 28 -- Shanghai reported another 13 confirmed new cases of the novel coronavirus yesterday, bringing the total to 66, the Shanghai Health Commission announced this morning.
One patient died, two are critical, four have fully recovered and been discharged, while 59 are in stable condition, according to the statement.
A 21-year-old woman surnamed Jin was discharged today, becoming the fourth patient to recover in Shanghai.
Of the 66 confirmed cases, 35 are men and 31 are women. The patients are aged from seven to 88 years of age, according to the official release.
Among the patients, 27 have lived in Hubei province, the epicenter of the current coronavirus outbreak, 23 have traveled to the region, while 16 had close contact with the people confirmed to have the virus, the health commission said.
As of today, 75 suspected cases have been cleared and another 129 suspected cases are undergoing further tests.
