(Yicai Global) Sept. 15 -- Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. [HKG:0388] and China Securities Depository and Clearing Corp. Ltd. began a roadshow in Australia and Singapore earlier this month to advise investors about the Shenzhen exchange and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong stock connect program.

The mainland-based exchange will continue to promote outside China, refine the stock connect program and improve its overseas service systems to help China's capital markets go global, and increase the mainland and Hong Kong markets' ability to serve the real economy, China Securities Journal quoted an official from the Shenzhen exchange as saying.

The roadshow was held in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, comprised more than 20 marketing events, with the team developing tailored one-to-one activities for institutional investors from different backgrounds, the official said.

During the show, the team and foreign investors discussed market regulation, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong stock connect, corporate governance, investor relations management and other topics the investors were concerned about.
