(Yicai Global) May 25 -- Students at universities in Hubei province, the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic, are able to return to school starting June 8, the provincial epidemic control committee announced today.

Students about to graduate and those engaged in academic research products can return on a voluntary basis while the back-to-school date for others is still undecided, the committee said.

Regions across China have been gradually allowing college students to return since early April as the virus outbreak eased off across the country, but those in Hubei have remained closed.
