(Yicai Global) Dec. 29 -- A subsidiary of Triumph Science & Technology Co. [SHA:600552] will set up a 3D curved glass production line compatible with flexible OLED smartphone screens, and an ITO conductive glass production line for liquid crystal displays in Luoyang, Henan province in east-central China to supply growing demand.

Triumph Display Materials (Luoyang) Co. (Triumph Luoyang), the wholly-owned subsidiary, plans to invest CNY91 million to build a color curved surface mobile phone cover production line able to produce 15 million covers annually.

It will also spend CNY81 million to construct an ITO electro-conductive glass production line with an annual output of 1,080 million units, the special glass developer announced yesterday.

​Both projects will be in Yibin district, Luoyang, and have a one-year construction period. The payback period (including the construction time) for the curved cell phone cover production line will be 5 years and the ITO electro-conductive glass production line 5.2 years, per the announcement.
