(Yicai Global) July 3 -- Suzhou Victory Precision Manufacture Co. [SHE:002426] will spend about CNY3.3 billion to build a production line for three-dimensional cover lenses for smart devices.

Its annual production capacity is projected at 75 million units.

The new plant will be built in an economic development zone in Liuan in China's east-central Anhui province, the company said in a statement on June 31. Plant construction will last two years. With an estimated annual capacity of 15 million units, the first phase will be built, installed and put into trial operation this year, and will start producing steadily next year. The second-phase production capacity is 60 million units a year, and steady output will be attained in 2019.

The firm's 3D curved glass products have wide applications in the manufacture of high-end smartphones and tablets, wearable devices, dashboards and industrial computers.
