(Yicai Global) Sept. 25 -- Cindy Wang, former chief marketing officer at Chinese used-car trading platform Youxin, has become the chief growth officer at new energy vehicle startup WM Motor.
In the newly created post Wang will be responsible for pushing expansion of the firm's online traffic through product planning and marketing innovations, tech media Leinews reported, citing founder Freeman Shen.
Before Youxin, Wang was in charge of US ride-hailing giant Uber Technologies' China business. Uber sold its China operations to archrival Didi Chuxing in 2016.
Shanghai-based WM Motor has also made other organizational changes, the report said. On Sept. 1, Shen also took on the role of general manager at its sales company in order to further build a user-oriented organizational structure. He also plans to adjust the sales company's organization and its strategic planning.
WM Motor co-founder and Senior Vice President Lu Bin has become the company's chief travel officer, overseeing its travel business, the report added.
