(Yicai Global) Nov. 3 -- The US Department of Commerce has determined that Chinese exporters of fine denier polyester staple fiber benefited from subsidies of more than 40 percent, after running countervailing probes into the sector, China's Ministry of Commerce said online.

Jiangyin Hailun Chemical Fiber Co. and Jiangyin Huahong Chemical Fiber Co. received subsidies of 41.73 and 47.64 percent, respectively, while other Chinese producers benefited from a 44.69 percent rate, the commerce department said.

Last year, the US imported USD79.4 million worth of the product from China, according to American data.
