(Yicai Global) June 6 -- US cloud computing solutions provider Twilio has teamed with its first partner from China's mainland, namely mobile communications firm Montnets Rongxin Technology Group, to join hands in international corporate messaging software.
Montnets signed a 15-month contract with Twilio so that the latter will help Montnets provide overseas communications solutions for corporate clients, the Shenzhen-based firm said in a statement yesterday. The contract will renew automatically upon expiry.
The cooperation will help Montnets to rapidly expand in the international cloud communication market, it added.
Founded in 2008, California-based Twilio helps software developers add voice, video and messaging functions to their applications and it has partnered with 1,000 operators in more than 200 countries and regions around the world.
Montnets was established in 2001 and it allows firms to build their own messaging platforms. The company has offices in 20 major Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
