(Yicai Global) Oct. 22 -- Chinese electronics maker Hangzhou Zhongheng Electric and air-conditioner manufacturer Yimikang Tech. Group will supply equipment for a data center internet titan Alibaba Group Holding will build.

Zhongheng and Chengdu-based YMK, both A-share listed, recently received the winning bid notice from Alibaba, they announced.

Zhongheng will provide high-voltage direct current and precision smart power distribution cabinets for the facility, with a winning bid priced about CNY300 million (USD43 million), per the announcement.

YMK will act as the centralized procurement company for the provision of chilled water precision air conditioners, with the contract price based on the quantity of units actually ordered at the time of signing.

Neither announcement offered further details of the project, not even its location.

Larger data centers built by cloud computing giants such as Baidu, Alibaba, and Tencent Holdings -- collectively 'BAT' -- are spawning huge demand for the company's products. It will continue to pay attention and provide personalized customized products and comprehensive solutions for them, Zhongheng pledged in its announcement.
