Air Astana has made Shanghai its sixth Chinese destination, bringing the number of flights between Kazakhstan and China to 32 a week, the airline's new CEO Ibrahim Canliel told Yicai. With strong travel demand, the flag carrier plans to increase Shanghai-Almaty flights and add Astana–Hangzhou/Guangzhou direct routes this June, he added.
