Huawei today unveiled the Tau (τ) Scaling Law, a new chip theory and architecture aimed at enabling domestic processors to reach 1.4nm equivalency by 2031. The Chinese tech giant said it has designed and mass-produced 381 chips based on the law over the past six years and will launch a new Kirin chip this autumn using logic folding tech.
