Former gaming executive Xu Yao was executed on May 21 for poisoning his colleague Lin Qi, founder of Yoozoo Games and a producer of Netflix's 3 Body Problem, multiple sources confirmed to the Economic Observer. Xu was arrested in 2020 shortly after Lin died at the age of 39. Xu deliberately poisoned Lin after disputes over company matters. He also poisoned two other colleagues.
