A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in China's northwest Qinghai province, killing one person and injuring eight others as of 11 p.m. yesterday, Xinhua reported. A team has been sent to the affected areas to guide emergency response and disaster relief work.
