Zero-tariff imports at the Hainan Free Trade Port surged 120% to nearly CNY2.7 billion (USD399.6 million) from the launch of island-wide special customs operations on Dec. 18 to May 31 from a year earlier, local authorities said. The province's goods trade topped CNY174 billion (USD25.7 billion) in the period.
