The UN has approved its first Global Technical Regulation for Automated Driving Systems, jointly developed by China, the EU, the US, and others. The regulation provides a unified framework for deploying automated driving technology and will help accelerate the commercialization of autonomous vehicles, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said yesterday.
