WuXi AppTec [SHA: 603259] was trading up by the daily trading limit of 10% as of 10.15 a.m. today after reporting its first-half net profit jumped 29% to CNY11.1 billion (USD1.6 billion) from a year ago, while revenue surged 39% to CNY28.9 billion. The Chinese biotech firm also raised its annual revenue guidance to between CNY58.5 billion and CNY60.5 billion.
