China's insurance industry recorded premium income of CNY3.86 trillion (USD568.5 billion) in the first half, up 3.3% from a year ago, according to the Insurance Association of China. Property insurers saw premium income rise 2.1%, while life insurers' premium income jumped 3.6 %.
