China Telecom’s net profit slumped 14.9% in the first half from a year ago to CNY19.5 billion (USD2.9 billion), while revenue dipped 3.9% to CNY259 billion (USD38.5 billion), according to the Chinese mobile network operator's latest financial report released today.
